Could anybody help me identify what I have, and give a few pointers?

Hey all, I am new here on Reef2Reef, but I have been sifting through the knowledge on here as I need. Just set up my saltwater tank about a month ago and it’s going strong thus far. Just wondering if anyone out there could help me identify a few of the corals I have in my tank? I also believe I have a small anemone growing on one of my hermit crabs shell, am I wrong? Any and all help is appreciated, I am knowledgeable but definitely a novice.

1. Finger leather, maybe a Kenya tree? It's a leather either way
2. Unhappy nem, possibly a bubble tip? I honestly can't tell.
3. Green Palythoa
4. Pink tip Condy nem. Those are known fish eaters so just be cautious.

First looks like a sinularia leather. Very hardy and rare for a leather.
Fourth pic is toxic green palys, very hardy and spread like weeds.
This is why IDing leathers is such a pain. lol Unless it's obviously a toadstool, without polyp extention, it all looks so similar

Yeah, when they are closed up they are all the same.

Thank you for the help!! Any tips on how I can cheer it up? I did purchase that one from Petco and I want my tank to succeed.

Ugh, Petco. Anyway, Nems are nems. It looks settled, it just needs to adjust and open. That may take a minute. It needs to get used to your light schedule. You can *try* to target feed some mysis or brine. Once it opens, make sure the oral disk isn't gaping open. They will close up to eat or poo or pout. So, don't panic.

Just to clarify, the toxic green palys isn’t actually going to be toxic to my fish, correct?
No. They won't. They are called that usually due to both their coloring and because palys are known to be toxic to us. Fragging them or in some cases, handling them can be hazardous.

Toxic palys won’t hurt fish. Named for the nuclear green color. They do contain palytoxin though (read up on it, PITA to deal with, but not deadly unless you do something stupid).

I believe it had just ate before I took that picture. I hope it gets established and comfortable. Is there any way you could tell me if that’s an anemone growing on my hermit? He has two on his shell, one looks like an anemone the other looks different.

Pics? There are hermits that firm symbiosis with nems.

Yeah definitely need pics. Without them, my first go to is Glass nems or Ball nems. You don't want either. They are both pests but without a pic, I can't say. Some hermits do carry around beneficial nems they for symbiotic relationships with.

Aren’t ball nems relatively harmless mushroom corals?
I thought it was really just aptasia and mojano that are bad.
