I have a pair of Picasso type that's been with me for 3-4 years now. It used to be in a 150g, then a 35g. Now it's in a 300g. They are the first fish introduced in the new tank. I just happened to see an amazing pair at the LFS and I was wondering would it be ok to have 2 pairs in a 300g 8ft tank? When I do get an anemone, would that be a problem? Would I have to get 2 anemones and put them at opposite corners of the tank? What are your thoughts and experiences? Thanks in advance!

Yes. I had 4 pair in my former 360g. Expect some squabbling, but it will be temporary

One pair took over nem. The remaining had to figure it out. Have a pair in my hairy mushroom, and another pair in one of my toadstools.

I knew a guy who had 2 pairs of clowns in a 180. The female of one of the pairs pretty much decided that the whole tank was hers as far as clowns were concerned. So a 6’ tank was not enough in that case.

I have three pairs in my 300. Occys in a Mag, Maroons in a BTA, and Saddlebacks in a LTA although I'm about to add a Haddoni for them. Mix natural symbionts and they won't stray far from their nems but be sure the nems aren't naturals for more than one species of clown added.
