Yeah, I'm not sure I like it either lol. I'll just have to let it grow back ;)
I am sorry @Crabs Mcjones. I prefer the coraline wall. I have mine covered. I like it better than the black glass on the back. Bot it is a matter of personal taste.

Well to me that’s looks way better!

I did it with mine a year or so ago and won’t go back. To be honest a bit of a scrap whenever the back looks a bit dirty will keep it clean, it’s no big task and just takes a few minutes every 3-4 weeks or so.

Well to me that’s looks way better!

I did it with mine a year or so ago and won’t go back. To be honest a bit of a scrap whenever the back looks a bit dirty will keep it clean, it’s no big task and just takes a few minutes every 3-4 weeks or so.

I have Tunze rocks with things growing off them all over the back walls of my tanks, as well as several anemones who live there, a small curtain of GSP, and some acros and stylos that have touched the wall and are starting to grow onto it. I like the look a lot and it allows me to stock my tank even more heavily, but it makes it impossible to scrape the back wall without the potential for massive damage. And just scraping some areas and leaving others wouldn't look good imo.
