They're discontinued almost everywhere now. Only place I'd likely be able to get one is used on here.

Yup, but I'm thinking used ones will be easy to find for future upgrades. The Mitras fixtures I use are a novelty in the US. Getting used isn't much of an option. Fortunately, they are a newer fixture so new availability isn't an issue. Would have picked up 2 more but they never went on sale this year.

So, I love tinkering. And I have been considering a lighting change. I'm giving a serious consideration go going all T5. Id like to get my hands on the ATI 8 bulb T5 fixture. Thoughts on this for a full SPS tank?

I really like the 8 bulb sun power on my reefer 350. Great growth and no shadowing.

I love my T5. I will be using x2 4 bulb fixtures for my new build. Wish I had an 8 bulb but I have to work with what I have. & yes no shadowing and really eye pleasing if you ask me.

I would not personally go only T5 on a display tank. LED and Halide can provide more depth and some shimmer. T5 only lighting tends to look a bit flat in my opinion.
