Also, hoping the fresh cheato comes today so I can restart the refugium, after all the bother I have been having with it, never had successful stable nutrient export in the 3 years the tank has been running :(

What have you been using for nutrient export so far then, the tank looks clean and good, but what are the nitrate and phosphates running at ?

A crap algae bed that’s never functioned properly, up to this point I think the constant use of gfo and the amount of rock in the tank has helped,

Here’s what it looked like a couple of days ago before the clean

    AA553D31-2E98-4C52-BFC7-256E8A50E9B0.jpeg
    23990B2E-2EE3-45BC-9FA6-69B949DF3C32.jpeg

I have fresh cheato coming today, I have complete cleaned the algae bed, changing the light to a cfl bulb 140watt and 6200k running reverse cycle.

Readings last night were nitrate 2.5ppm phos 0.012ppm but I have been dosing nopox
