Crappy Facebook videos and pictures

I have an IPhone XR and use the polyp lab lenses on it. When I take videos on my phone they look amazing and same with pictures. When I upload the videos and pictures to Facebook they look very grainy and I can’t stand it. I have tried with my camera setting on 1080 p and on 4K with the same results. I have all the setting on my phone and on the Facebook app to upload in HD and they still look like crap.

Any ideas?

I do not know on Facebook, but on YouTube you can choose the quality of the video.
