Hey everyone! I’m looking for some opinions on my aquascape for my RSR 425XL. I’m no artist so all opinions are welcome.

The rock is from old tanks of mine from years past, and I’ve been curing and cycling it in a Rubbermaid Can with some Dr Tim’s and a few pieces of shrimp for 3 months. I haven’t glued them yet, so let me know what you think!

I also posted 3 versions of the right structure which I couldn’t get right for my taste...

All look good, I think I slightly prefer 3 and they actually look a little how I started out in my system.

Hello,

Honestly the best ideas come from looking at actual reefs in the wild. Honestly someone above doesn’t go hmmmm should move this rock or this and or if I move that one it could collide with that continent. (I’m sorry I mean with absolutely total respect and wishing to help hoped my attempt of humor worked, (which is why I work in a place where you must be so serious).

Another honest suggestion is, do what you like, build it how you would see the ocean and a reef in front of you. We will all like what you go with, but get creative with those rocks :)

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
