Over the last 3-4 months I've had these little critters blowing up in my tank like crazy. Not bothering anyone. But not sure if they will become a problem or just exhaust there food supply and die out. They have fan like feeders that come out. They are only growing on hard surfaces. They kinda look like a white coiled dog turd with a fan coming out. I scrape them off the glass but they just keep coming back . Mostly in the parts of glass I don't clean. But are growing all over the stock of my branching hammers. They do seem to keep the tank polished clean for sure.
They definitely are not vermitid snails had and battled those already so I can positively say they aren't vermitid.

Looks very much like Spirorbid Worms

So they look like these? (Random Google image) if so that is what they are. Harmless filter feeders.

That is a good source for them. My sump, overflows and part of my back wall is loaded with them. Some of my euphillia have them on them to, but no I’ll effects from it.
