Crush Aragonite Or Sand Aragonite

I thought I was buying aragonite sand from Petco, However, the Walmart website has the same product as crushed aragonite coral. The bag does not have written on it sand or crushed coral. I was thinking sand would be better for my snail cleanup crew. The product looks like very small pebbles. Not certain my snails can clean through it. Can snails clean though the crushed coral? Thanks all

I read the labels and product descriptions carefully for online purchases. The pictures are not always helpful.

As for sand dwelling snails, yes they will clean sand. Crushed coral arrogonite could be larger chunks or fine sand, hopefully the label will state a particle size and you can get what you really want.

Agree that looking at particle size is key not just the name. Personally i dont like "sand" at all. I like high flow and find sand blow around too easily. Much prefer a bit larger size.
