Some refugium update pics. Started a little less than a month ago with a baseball sized piece of chaeto. Now have about 2 5 gallon buckets worth. Been dosing phyto in it and with the ultra slow flow rate the water is actually a tinge green all the time now. Pods absolutely coating all 4 walls and the rocks below.

I have a UV in the 75 that I need to move over. I've had Dragons Breath and Water Lettuce. Both just sort of melted away. I found out that my phosphates were bottomed out though so that could be part of it.

Dragons breath can be finicky. I'm surprised the ulva died. I had it accidentally in my system as kind of a pest previously.

Some new photos sitting by the tank! Corals looking great and same with nems after uv install. Cherub angel is Def my favorite fish in the tank rn. So smart, interactive, and active. Even though I didnt have a dino plague, the dinos I did have irritating my toadstool are much less aggressively growing.

Sadly it isn't in focus, but anthias, angel, and damsel have all been seen frequenting the cleaner goby shop. Royal gramma even got a bit of cleaning when he came by to be a little punk for a second lol. Female clown also came by for a trial as well as the tang. Only the tang and the anthias have ever come by the skunk cleaner cleaning station. Pretty crazy.

What I'm really most looking for non fish is a purple long tentacle anemone. It's going to be one of the centerpieces for the new rebuild after the crash. Neither of my 2 lfs regularly get in long tentacle anemones, so I'm actually keeping my eyes on that petco since petcos regularly stock them and they're probably the easiest anemones to identify by sight. Might check tomorrow.

Installed a couple mini wavemakers to replace 2 hydor koralia Nanos I've been using for 4 years to get more random flow. Bought a shortspine urchin at petco. Also rare sight my giant fire shrimp was out for almost 30 minutes this morning chilling which is super unlike them.

My bubble tip split yesterday. Torn on it. It's been very happy, so I know it's not stress related. I was just hoping to have one grow huge this time though lol. Seems like I've got another of the splitter morphs! Maybe I'll get lucky and get a cool color morphs from the random splitting or different tentacle patterns. Will take pics when I get home! Hope it doesn't get too out of control lol
