Purple stylophora for sure is easy and a fast grower. Not all birds nests are easy but the guttatus or reindeer birdsnests are pretty reliable. My new discovery is the anacroporas (I have green and red varieties. Hold colors and grow real fast. Branches break off easily so will have more frags than you know what to do with!!!

Don’t be afraid to dabble in acros. There’s plenty of hearty acros out there to try. This colony started out as a 3/4” frag 18 months ago. It’s bullet proof, and grows even faster that the milka stylo in the same photo there.

Awesome growth! How long does it take to grow from a frag to huge size colony?
That April Pic is the start when bought so 1 1/2 years. Once it gets established it seems to grow like a weed in all directions.

Most people said acro is more sensitive and slow grower. Hence need some easy sps first to increase my self-confident before taking care of acro. The milka stylo definitely a scene stealer here. Love it!

Sorry these turned out a little more blurry than expected, this is about 5-8 months of growth on these. Acros are definitely worth the work :D
