I am having issues getting my settings correct. I have it coming on at 8 am and off at 3 pm Sunrise/sunset at 100% blue 10% white and daylight at 100% blue and 25% white but by the time I get home from work at 4:30 it has switched to sunset and the corals are closing. Other than switching to manual mode (me putting it back on daylight when I get home, is there any way to make the daylight last longer?

I dont know if this is a trick question, but change your settings to either keep the lights on longer or change the start time to later like 10:00am. If you have the older units its done through a little remote. The newer units are done through an app and it literally take 2 minutes to do. You are free to set the schedule to fit your viewing. I have one tank that comes on at 8am because it's in my office and thats when I start work. I have another tank that comes on at 10:00 so I can see it when I get home
