Hey everyone, I’m having an outbreak of something in my reef tank. I had a Cyanobacteria outbreak back in September. Prior to that, I had a dino infestation + hair algae which I wiped out with AlgaeBarns OceanMagik and Reef Flux. Recently, I’ve been dealing with this algae or bacteria that is brown and has a slime like look to it. I can easily suck it up with a siphon, however it always comes back. I’m hoping it’s diatoms but I’m not exactly sure? Can anyone chime in? I’ll attach some images. None of my inhabitants seem to be affected, thank goodness.

Pictures very blue and fuzzy making it hard to tell
Appears to be early stages of dino
Do you know what your phosphate and nitrate levels are ?
Dino will appear as golden brown snot with bubbles whereas cyano will be matted and pink/red/purple in color

Is this pic any better? Sorry it’s from my phone. My nitrates are at 0 and I don’t have a phosphate kit as of right now. But with that being said, I don’t think what I’m dealing with is dinos because like you said it’s appearance is that of golden brown snot with bubbles. Could it be diatoms?
