Cyano or Diatoms?

Can someone maybe identify if this is cyano or diatoms it appears to be brown, my nitrates are 10ppm and my phosphate is 0.1ppm

Impossible to say for certain by gross appearance. Is this in a frag tank? How old is the tank? What are the PO4 and NO3 levels.

Microscope views are the only way to be certain.

Cyano is typically deep red. Most likely diatoms IMO. If this is a new tank even more likely to be diatoms.
