Is the first stuff in the tank cyano and the other algae GHA?

I took a video with the white lights on only...Tank looks uglier like that.

Currently running fallow and ghost feed to keep nitrates and phosphate up.

It doesn't look like cyano to me, but more like hair algea. If it is cyano you should be able to blow it off the rock. Be careful with doing this because it will spread. Hair algea will take a small amount of force to remove from the rock.

Nevertheless looks like it's just part of your cycle.

Looks like they are dinos because this strand is starting to bubble, but they don’t leave the rock at night.

One section of the rock used to look brown but now it’s white. I started putting bacteria in my tank. So hope that is what is helping.

I do get stuff on the glass. It looks a little different than the stringy stuff on the rocks, but I clean the glass.

Here’s some a strand that I pulled out. Don’t know if it will help or not.

Kind of have a reddish brown color.

I never figured mine out but looks exactly the same but mine is pretty much limited the back glass. Have a beefed up CUC coming Wednesday two of my astraeas committed suicide and fell off the glass landed on their shells and I didn’t see them for 24 hours. Oh well time will tell one astraea is working away but need help lol
