Hello everyone, I’m sorry if this question has been asked before but I have Cyanobacteria only on my back glass. My Nitrates and phosphates are 0. Thinking that it was caused by lack of flow in that area I redirected a power head directly on the back glass but it keeps growing. Now I have never cleaned my back glass in hopes Coralline algae would grow and cover it. Could this algae be growing because the back glass is too dirty? Would it be safe to scrape that algae off and immediately do a water change? I currently have Spirorbid worms and pods living back there.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!!
