Should I still perform my 10% weekly water changes after my tank is cycled?

It all depends on what your game plan is and your end goal for the tank.

Most people will tell you that water changes should continue on a regular basis, though the amount and frequency will vary from person to person.

There are methods out there, such as triton, that rely on no water changes, just top off with rodi water to account for water evaporation.

Ultimately, it's your tank, and it's what you want to do. Until you have an established method of exporting excess nitrates, water changes will be about the only way to decrease them to avoid nuisance algae from taking root.

Thanks for your response. Only planning to add maybe 1 or 2 more fish and upgrade to the fluval evo 32.
