Good morning I've had about 150 pounds of dry Rock cycling waiting for my fish tank to arrive I had an old heater in there that stopped working and the tank temp got down to about 70 degrees my question is did I kill the bacteria I'm about six weeks into the process and would hate to think I would have to start over because all the bacteria dies because the water got too cold or will it be fine

No, the bacteria can tolerate a decent temp range. You'd be in more danger from getting too warm. I don't even bother with adding a heater until I'm ready for livestock.

So cycling will work and isn't too bad under decent room temperatures?

It will be slower if the water is cool. What is the room temperature? The optimum cycling temperature is 82 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you're counting hours you might notice the difference. ;) Mine has always completed on schedule if not a little earlier than expected at room temp.
