Cycling help - ammonia and nitrate reading, no nitrite

Be patient, even with bottled bacteria, it can take up to a couple weeks. Don't redose ammonia because once you hit about 4ppm, you can start to inhibit the rest of the nitrification process. Take ykour time - you only have to cycle once so no need to rush through this one. Oh... get more plants (*wink*)

I have my filter and pump running, heater set to 82°, pH is 6.6, my light has been off. I have drift wood and 2 plants in my tank. Using Fluval stratum for bottom.
Please know that your Fluval Stratum substrate will raise ammonia over the first month or so. This video may help with a freshwater planted tank:
