I thought I had Dino’s for quite some time, I checked p04 and it bottomed out. I have been dosing it for months to keep it at .03ppm. I tried chemiclean and it wiped everything out, turned out it cyano. I stoped dosing p04 and checked it was up to .2pmm it has been dropping the last few days now at about .1 but cyano coming back very slowly. Should I add gfo now or should I hit it with chemiclean again then bring down p04?

Get control of your dosing and feeding to stabilize the parameters and the algae, Cyanobacteria and Dino’s will run their course and the ugliness will vanish with time, maintenance and water changes.

Magic numbers don’t fix this problem, ime.
