I received the replacement light bar for the algae reactor on Friday (thanks BRS!). I put it right back into operation in the container with the rocks. The chaeto I had was sitting in a net in the rock container. I saw the light come on, so I went to check it out and saw this cool scene.

So I have the rodi set up. I’m reading 40-41 tds coming on, and zero going out.

So the water tanks and rodi booster pump came. Tomorrow the water station pump and some misc stuff should be here...so hopefully I get the plumbing done and ready to start making water this weekend.

Waiting for a few parts to arrive. It’s crazy how many little items I forgot to order. It’s just as crazy how little the big box stores and local hardware stores have available for purchase.

Anyway, I was able to get the rodi system finished, and it is the first thing I programmed into the apex. Well not really, just set up for on/off. When turned on, the solenoid opens and allows pressure through. The pump recognizes this flushes the membrane, then starts pumping. Before the booster pump, I was getting 45psi from my homes plumbing. I’m getting 100psi with the pump. I’ve noticed a reduction of the waste line with pressure. And getting water faster sure is nice.

After a mixup at BRS with my overnight order, I should finally be getting the last plumbing parts I need today. their customer service has been great, until this order. Because of the delay, I don’t think I’ll get anything done until after the turkey day travels....[emoji20]

So I got the rock work in. I need to change the left side, I’m not feeling it.

I also need to do a little better with cable management.

I can’t figure out why the micro bubbles from the skimmer is bothering me so much. Lol I don’t even have the lights hung yet [emoji23] (using old leds from my fish only at the moment, rarely on), but the AP700’s are here. Once aquatic life ships their 60 inch hybrid fixture, I’ll mount them.

Thanks Crimsonvice! I need to post an update, hopefully I'll get those lights hung tonight. It's up and running, and there are a few small chromis and a small clean up crew in there now. I also have a couple frags from a LFS that went out of business last weekend. They're low light specimens, that I have at the top of the tank at the moment since the lights there now aren't made for coral. I probably shouldn't of purchased them, but at $10 each I took the risk...

Ok so a couple updates. Works been crazy, Christmas, and the actual tank.

I put up a CO2 scrubber to help keep the ph up over 8. With a ventless heater and a water heater in the room, I assumed I need to do something.

I hung the AP700s by hanging shelf brackets upside down. I may still get the aquatic life 60” T5 hybrid fixture, maybe.
