It used to be 2x this size in the 20, then it died back 1/2 when I moved it to this tank, then it died back further when I had the big magnesium issue a year or so ago and it was in that dim low corner so regrowth was sloooowwwww. Lifting the rock up is making it move fast again.

I really need to clean the front glass today, both inside and out. There's the tiniest speckles of coralline starting to grow and they're white. I just freaked out thinking my tangs all had ich. Ugh. Dumb.

Anyway. FTS and headed out to get a shop vac so I can pull the mud & make the sump ready for the ATS that should hopefully arrive next week.

Yesterday was aiptasia hunt, I think I got most of them.

I ordered a new lense clip for the phone so I can get more accurate colors, hopefully. Went with the orphek.

Thinking about reaching out to gce to place a bigger shallow water rfa order in the next couple weeks, they're within the state so I trust shipping with them a bit more.

Anyone want to enable me into buying another hippopus (for this tank) ? And I'm torn between either a smith's blenny or a clown goby for the pico until it grows. I also want a flame scallop (for this tank) every time I see them available but have yet to pull the trigger.

I obviously have time before a purchase like that would be made, because I still don't trust shipping if it's not within the state.

Clown gobies rock. I had a yellow and it was not scared of a thing. Right in the middle of feeding. It bright and has a personality like napoleon.
Greens are a lot more laid back. More like find Waldo. Stays on the edge of the feeding fish and pics of small pieces.

Sad news. GCE lost their previous common rfa source, they'll be collecting themselves but not anytime too soon.

Mud is out! Didn't do it yesterday, mixed some water so if be ready to go today. Bucket top shop vac worked perfectly. Culled a lot of the macros and only put a little back in. They'll likely go entirely once the ATS arrives.

Little buddy was not a fan of this endeavor.

It's in the silicone. As you can see, I don't even scrape it on the edges. I got this tank extremely used a few years ago and that's been in there since I got it. I assume the previous owner scraped it into there on accident.

Those are going to look great in your tank!! Do you think the mystery lps could be leptastrea?
Edit: I say that because one of my favorite corals is this leptastrea and it looks very similar

That looks pretty similar to me. I think we'll have a better idea once it's home.

I know, he did soooo good with it. All he does is point out things he would do differently "for the next one" so hey - sounds like I've got the green light for an upgrade in the future.
