This article says ambient light works and they need nothing special. Very informative.

https://reefbreeders.com/shop/reefbreeders-display-fuge/.

Everything I read said that as long as you can't feel the heat holding your hand there it should be fine. Not sure how accurate that is but they're growing for sure. They were literally just seeds with zero roots mid August.

Watch the tenticles they dont play nice.

What light are you using for the mangroves. A couple im friends with just set up a display sump and had a 4 bulb 4ft t5ho grow light over them and they think it may be too much.
depending on how much more this guy fluffs out I may end up moving it. Although if it knocks out a few of those zoas that have overtaken everything I don't think I'll be that upset.

I love mangroves, I need to get some in my system.

I went kayaking through a MASSIVE mangrove system in Thailand, it was awesome. They get BIG in nature.
Love them! I can't say I've been through anything that cool but I live in FL right by a canal & the bay & gulf and we've got our share of groves to kayak through. The diversity of life around them is one of my favorite things.

Had to set the frag rack back up today. None of them are very happy right now, but they got here before I had to go to work so that's good. Don't have time to set them in designated spots right now and convince the clowns to not redecorate - rack is the easiest solution until I have more time tonight/tomorrow.

You tank is absolutely amazing @danieyella!! We’ve discussed our terribly placed overflow before but you have created a tank that provides so many beautiful things to focus on; it’s not even noticeable!
Can you tell me what you have for flow?
What is your fish list currently?!

...taking notes...

Awhhhh thanks lol.

I'm using 2 rp-ms set in master/slave mode on either side in the "natural" mode which circulates through a few different strengths.

I'll get back to you with the fish list later this evening - "working"
