The dark dots are algae on the glass and are not a part of the dark patch in the first photo. Currently been treating with general cure and melafix for a few days. I've seen an identical looking spot posted before with no clear answers. There's a neon wrasse and bicolor blenny in quarantine with him and have no signs of the same condition. Anyone have any idea what this is?

how long have you had the fish? When did the injuries first appear? How old is the tank? What are your ammonia levels?

Appears to be bacterial and best treatment should be done in quarantine using a broad-spectrum antibiotic or combining antibiotics such as Seachem Kanaplex and Metroplex(added to foods) which has the potential for providing the widest coverage

It's been 8 days. The spot was there on day two and has grown a small bit. Tank is an established tank. No ammonia.
Are the spots just on the left side?
What tankmates are in with it?

Should I be adding it to just the food or should I also be dosing in the water column?

Treat within quarantine tank and add metro to the foods
