I bought this nice leather toadstool about 2 day ago which is pretty recent but I’m worried if it’s dead or just shedding,
Water parameters

I run an AI prime and have a power head that’s on the lowest level

Its prob in what I call "shock". I see this a lot when they get moved to a new tank. It should recover just fine. It might take awhile.

For starters, elevate it off sandbed, as sand can irritate it and being that low in tank, it’s likely not getting enough water flow.
Assure the following :

moderate light and water flow
Salinity 1.025
Ph. 8.1-8.3
Temperature. 77-79
Pho’s < .04
Nitrate < .04
