First time entering! No filter, no edits, untouched. Neon weeping willow.

Welcome to the competition and that is a lovely coral! Just for the sake of discussion, your photo is in .jpg format, so your camera or phone most likely already processed the image and applied some edits. The camera already edited to it's programming. So I take this as creative license to edit to my taste. Editing and post processing are encouraged in this contest. I try to edit to match what I see, but many people are much more creative. Our reef aquariums are very unusual compared to what most cameras are programmed for, hence the use of filters and editing.

Copy and pasted from a Google search:

Key points about JPEGs:
In-camera processing:
When you shoot in JPEG format, your camera automatically applies some basic adjustments like white balance, contrast, and sharpness, essentially doing a minimal level of editing before saving the file.

one of my favourite photos of my greener torches.
It just lacks red.

I think most everyone is using a very loose terminology for "red" in this contest. Not a lot of " fire engine Red" in our reef tanks

Would it be okay to re submit my picture from May POTM? It did not met the deadline back then but made it through the voting poll and made some confusion. We’ll if it would be allowed then here it is again.
