Okay so, back in after a few years out. This place sure has grown.

Here is my old system (48x30x20).

My new tank build is a Deep Blue 80g shallow I resealed on a modified Waterbox stand.

Updated FTS 2/28

The tank was slightly larger than the stand, so I fixed this by adding 1x4 trim around the top for the tank to rest on. I figured this would be the best way to not alter the appearance/style of the stand.

Equipment:
48x24x16 Deep Blue tank
130.4 Waterbox stand
Waterbox glass sump
2 x MP40wqd
1 x Nero 5
Red Sea RSK300 (replaced the Curve that was previously installed)
Hygger DC return pump
2 x AI Hydra 32 HD with 2 x Reefbrite XHO

Still working on my equipment board and cabinet.

For now you'll have to excuse the phone pics. I still only use my cameras for car photography, which I rarely even get it out for these days. Maybe one day I'll get my gear out and try for some higher quality tank shots.

At this time, I have no plans to add a dosing pump. If the need arises in the future, I'll add it then. Currently I do 15g water changes once a week religiously. All livestock was transferred from another system I had running.

How many tangs (surgeonfish) do you have in your reef tank?
