Finally finished all the wood work with the exception of drilling holes at the rear and top for ventilation and sanding

Looks awesome. Currently building my own stand for my custom 125 that I just ordered. May take an idea or two from you trim work, looks great.

Did you use MDF boards and cut out the holes where you will put the doors? Then use wood trim pieces on top of that? I have some leftover MDF board that I was thinking of doing that to keep one continuous piece per side, then accented by different trim.

No I use birch plywood installed on the frame then like you said cut the holes. This provided the continuous piece. Used wood trim to conceal seams/screws.

This tank is an Apex free zone, just received my GHL P4 controller, extra power strip, doser 2.1 and flow sensor.
