Well octo acclimation box came in from winning the partner member contest and got it in tank had to change some of the scape to accommodate it but all in all i really like it i am in the final stages with cementing the return lines and overflow box lines to the sump on the back side and then ready for a water test. Going to remove the rock before and do an empty tank test then as long as there are no leaks boom saltwater time and transfer bare bottom 20 over have a larger rock that will go in the sump refugium with caribsea direct ocean sand as well as rubble in the rubble box and the pvc house my clowns have made there home going to be sliming down the 20 and gifting to my brother inlaw that has now expressed the passion after seeing my builds and wants to start the journey for himself. All in all super excited. Work has given me a new position and schedule which is amazing and gives me more time with the fam and tanks without having to work overnights anymore things are really coming together in life and in tank life.

I finally get to sleep at night like normal people lol first time in 13 yrs.....gonna be awesome lol gonna take some getting used to but its going to be a good thing more family time and 8 hr shifts instead of twelves with every weekend off

So started the weekend frustrated with a delay on the gate valve which im starting to think it was lost in shipping.....but it turned out to be good as i was able to score some tonga branch (man made) for cheap 10 bucks for everything seen below. Was able to get a really cool platform nade out of it for the backside of the tank which will give me more coral placement. And shifted things around yet again have a place i can put the octo box when needed in the tank otherwise its gonna stay out of it and all in all conpletely pleased with the outcome. Yesterday was suppose to be transfer day and this past wed. Was fill day but it all ended up working out. Let me know what you guys thing have some top pics side pics and some eye level....

Everything is finally done and ready. I will be doing my leak test today on the tank sump and plumbing(tank and sump were fine gotta check planning mainly) also got a few additions once cycled and everything gets transitioned over from the 20. Got my newest addition my acan TD after denver broncos great Terrel Davis...got my orange hammer named crush and some really cool cloves named shooting star that was something the wife wanted. She has agreed if they spread they dead hahaha new torch that @Lost in the Sauce helped me with due to my new clown Capone and has came back awesome. Have our green hammer Hulk and our duncan frags named after the great blues brothers Elwood and Jake. But all in all super stoked for when I can finally transition everything over. Ill give it a week before i do to get the tank set up and everything holding well to get the corals in. Oh and everything is holding no leaks dialing in the gate valve and boom ready to get most of everything in tomorrow rock wise and sand and everything will again like stated earlier wait for livestock and corals for a little bit let the tank do its thing.

Quality, not quantity. I've got a feeling you'll love your tank a lot more if It's 40% full of coral you Love versus 80% of coral. You are so so about.

Been a task today everything is filled sand amd rockwork done and sand in the left compartment. Super stoked for this waiting for it to clear up then will put in the live rock and ghost feed the tank check for nitrates tomorrow and transfer fish on monday or tues. After adding the fish i will get the skimmer dialed in and everything fine tuned. Sad day can't use the IOAOI on this build but will be using it on a different one. After rockwork sand and everything it was a total of 76g. Super happy with the turn out now time to finish the controller cabinet with all controllers mounted to the diamond plate interior panel. Super stoked.

Well got some big news transfer went amazing and everything is out and extended. The torch looks the best it has ever looked since getting it and getting close to moving my other torch into the tank as well. Refugium is set up now just to grab some macro for it.... @Lost in the Sauce thanks for your help last night getting everything dialed in and ready for rhe transfer. My two clowns Al and Mae Capone love the new space and will give it a week before putting Pablo Escobar our watchman goby in for the pods to take off. Now to break down the 20 and get it over to my brother in laws and set up for him to start the hobby with.

You have a plan in place to help hold it down. Just figured i would ask in case i go through something similar. Scopas tang coming soon to this build and maybe a blenny. What would you suggest for something this size and being frag tank base....
