Bro like the best thing ever invented lol was a huge help with this one and will be amazing for the big build this sump previous ato and soon to be matching ato for this sump were my trial runs for the custom 90.....learned a lot on the way and the clamps was one of the best purchases so far for diy tanks

Well it is cured enough to throw under the tank and see what it looks like and wow what a huge difference this things makes the height is perfect and distance to the back as well is a very good length still leaves me room for the ato next to the sump.....super excited about it.....

Thanks man that satin glass really does make it stand out quite a bit digging the look with the white stand

As long as weather permits ill be able to finish the cabinet doors tomorrow child proof them and get them hung on thurs.

If i didnt have kids i would fix the hack job on the front openings fromthey guy i got it from and go no doors but with the kids its only a matter of time b4 my 2 yr old adds her flavors to the sump...lol someday lol on the custom 90 i was thinking glass inserts on the cabinet doors to see all the goodies....

lol. 2yr old = bad for tank. That is why I fully covered my Cichlid sump with glass! can't do that with a saltwater sump.

Well trim gloss white has been applied wait to dry and do the interior panel and hang dem up boi lol. Not bad for only 2 hrs of sleep for today and yesterday smh.....work has me going 150mph right now....

Well got this beauty in today aquamaxx fc120 and got her put in the sump and she fit the chamber perfect next to the filter sock chamber was a little nervous as i had made the sock chamber before getting the skimmer in but after measuring 5 times and coning once it fit like it was made for it super excited to see it come together next the doors will go on and all i have left is plumbing

Bracket to mount light to wall 5.98 walmart shelf bracket 10min of modifications all electrical ran to utilize controller cabinet and all in all busy day so far but finally going to relax. Watch some pig skin and enjoy the rest of the day.

Well the wife said my stand wasnt finished smh. Im over here looking at it up and down wondering whats missing. She said she needed to go to the store. So she leaves me with that before she goes. Why would she do that to me...so i am literally sitting here looking at everything for a few hours. She gets home and asks did you figure it out. Still staring at it i finally tell her no its not missing anything. Frustrated at this point with what she dropped on me before leaving and not pointing out whats missing. She hands me a little package and says this will make it done. She got the perfect ones and matched it to everything and she was right. Every cabinet door needs a great finished handle. Smh she made me scared like i messed something up!!!!! Glad i have a wife that thinks of the little things what an amazing thought and even better purchase. All i got to say is good thing i have her for a the little things that make a huge difference.

Sons birthday party this weekend so would have no time to get anything done........Unless.....I do it while everyone is sleeping. Im used to working nights anyway lol. So was able to get reactors hung manifold put together pump in and return started only a few finishing measurements and we are good to go I have the 1in gate valve coming this week for the overflow then I will be able to get that put in.... getting close...but now ready to get some sleep. Any recommendations on check valves? Want to get two in line on both returns before coming to the T leading to the pump I do have valves on both returns.....would that be enough for when I need to do sump maintenance.

Either through unions or valves, It looks like you should be able to isolate your entire manifold and remove it which is best case scenario for doing work under there if needed.

I have the manifold located over the sump by an inch so if it does trickle for whatever reason at least it is going back to the sump and not on the ground. Thanks bro taken awhile to get it done but after looking at quite a few pictures and trying to utilize space and make access to everything. Also thanks for the reply i think i will just stick with the valves should be plenty to isolate flow back if needing to turn the pump off for maintenance....

Well octo acclimation box came in from winning the partner member contest and got it in tank had to change some of the scape to accommodate it but all in all i really like it i am in the final stages with cementing the return lines and overflow box lines to the sump on the back side and then ready for a water test. Going to remove the rock before and do an empty tank test then as long as there are no leaks boom saltwater time and transfer bare bottom 20 over have a larger rock that will go in the sump refugium with caribsea direct ocean sand as well as rubble in the rubble box and the pvc house my clowns have made there home going to be sliming down the 20 and gifting to my brother inlaw that has now expressed the passion after seeing my builds and wants to start the journey for himself. All in all super excited. Work has given me a new position and schedule which is amazing and gives me more time with the fam and tanks without having to work overnights anymore things are really coming together in life and in tank life.
