Hi All. My tank has been running for 3 months. I used macro reef rock and live sand. The rock is turning brown with some green showing up on some rock. Sand bed has been getting dark brown. Even after vac sand bed. Is this normal? Or do I need to take some other course of action? Also I have a few corals in tank with 7 fish. All seem fine.

Looks normal to me. If you have enough snails to clean the rocks...maybe with WC blow off some detritus; and buy a conch for the sand bed. These animals are not only fun to watch, they are really good with keeping the sand bed clean and sifting as well. I literally encourage everyone to have one, since buying mine 1 month ago lol

My only other recommendation is to not move so fast when adding stock. Let things stabilize and add gradually. But everyone is different of course ;)
