Did I hit jackpot with 6 head scolymia or it's just a another regular lobo or acan.

Did it hit jackpot with this 6 head scolymia?

Hi. I recently got a scolymia that has crazy number of heads, but is very uncommon to see a double head, triple head....let alone 6 heads...

I have read a post by reef builder about a 4 head scolymia a while back. It does exist.

What do u guys think, is it a scolymia? Or it's something else.

Please common on why u think it is what it is...thank you for all your input in advance.

Looks like an acan. Those mouths are distinct heads, whereas (in the attached link for the 4-headed scoly), the mouths appear to belong to a single head

Well I do think acan and scolymia feed differently, but I think once spllitted they don't share a single head. This example should be a double header scolymia which heads are distanced as well, or maybe this is another acan?

I don't think that's an acan, the heads are far too distinct. I don't know what multi-headed scolies you guys have seen, but they always have distinct heads due to the way they grow.
A video of feeding would be helpful too, if the tentacles are thick and chunky then you may have yourself a multi-headed scoly.

Another reason I think it's scolymia is the size. It's same size as the other scolymia I had. If it's acan, which it could have been, it's the largest acan that I ever encountered.

I actually realized one head didn't eat yet, the other head just eat and it's full...let me see if I can video it..

Looks like a acan maxima
It looks close to acan maxia. I found feeding pictures here.

which feeding tentacle is outside of the mouth, not directly at the center. I just video a feeding time video. Uploading in 5 minutes.

One way to tell would be to feed them, they eat differently.

I think this is right.

Feeding video...2x speed. Wish my phone could do 5x speed.
