I noticed a few days my long tenticle coral no idea what it is but i know it has poisonous tenticles if it touch’s other corals. Did it kill my leather? My leather has been closed up for at least a week now. I just moved the tenticle coral yesterday.

It’s possible it was stinging it, but the leather is definitely not dead. They can be moody, it could stay ‘mad’ for a few days to a few weeks, but should recover. It’s probably a torch coral or long tentacle plate coral. I’m leaning toward the latter as the tentacles look like they are sitting in the sand directly vs on a branching stem.

thanks, I’m sure it was stinging it, wish I never got it for my tank as it takes up so much room in my 20g. Hopefully the leather recovers
