Hello everybody am new here this is my first post, can someone help me identify this pest please as I have been battling it out for over a year I have a Red sea reefer 250 I lost all my corals, my shrimps, my snail and a few fish I tried H202 I tried Dinoxal, I tried DinoX , nothing worked. Then I came across this forum and started reading and though this forum is really great and I hopeful that I can win this now. Because I started reading , I removed 50% of my sand and dosing microbacter7 and I raised my P04 to 0.04 and my nitrate is in between 20-40. I am running a little Uv green killing machine in my main display as it was lying around from my previous tank. My tank is starting to improve my salinity is 1.024
Dkh 10
Ph 8
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20-40
P04 0.04

It all started because of Nopox my tank was too low in nutrient I though this was diatom them my lfs told me it could be dino.

Hi welcome to the forum, they don’t appear to be moving on the vid. Can you share some more information on your system?

I need a pic under white light

could you give me some info on your Rodi?
Are you using 0 TDS? And if so have you done a silica test on it? This is my main suspicion right now given your parameters.

Did you use a test kit to verify silica?

What temperature do you run your tank? There is talks that raising your temperature to 28> will help kill the dinoflagellates, probably look at dosing live phytoplankton to try and outcompete the dinos. I had the same species in the past and it totally nuked my tank. They are poisonous
