The picture and the video look like entirely different species!

The pic almost resembles amphidinium dinos and doesn't have the characteristic look of ostreopsis dinos. But the video, looks like ostreopsis, especially how many of them swivel around in a circular pattern.

@taricha ... let's see what he thinks on this one!

They are the same sample, I'll grab another video tomorrow and see if I can get it any clearer

It is definitely ostreopsis. The pic doesn't show the pointy tip because it's too light and blends with the white background. This happens in some overexposed pictures.
