Help! I am still new to reefing. I started in February. Is this Dino? If so, what kind? What should I do? My tank has a cyano outbreak, so I siphoned out the red slime and dosed Chemiclean today.

Here are my parameters
Alk - 8.5
Cal - 440
Mag - 1440
NO3 - .75
P04 - .03

I just dosed loudwolf sodium nitrate and trisodium phosphate too to bring up no3 and po4.

1. I didn’t realize I have Dino’s before I dosed Chemiclean. Should I do a water change to remove Dino’s?
2. Need some recommendations. I have a mixed tank.

You need to get those nitrates up more. Dinos often happen when you don't have enough nitrogen to support your microbes and dinos end up taking over. I wouldn't go below 5 ppm nitrate to be safe. The phosphates are fine though.

How do you run activated carbon on your reef tank?
