Hey guys, I’ve had this tomini tang for about four months now and I started to notice this discoloration around his eyes and mouth. He has had no change it in behavior or diet, the weird thing the markings almost seem symmetrical on both sides of this face.

Looks like HLLE to me. What are you feeding? It’s generally thought that HLLE is nutrition related, unless you use granular activated carbon in your system, which is also thought to contribute to HLLE.

I agree it looks like HLLE. My Tomini started developing the same issue so I removed the chemipure blue I was running in a filter cup and it has been going away ever since. Maybe a coincidence but I think the carbon had something to do with it.
