I subscribed to the newsletter.I think this is a great cause!I think its great that they are teaching the younger generation about Corals and how they support a lot of aquatic life.A truely noble cause.I sometimes wonder if all the increase in hurricanes in the past few years also contribute to the Corals dying off, besides global warming.Makes me appreciate the Coral I have growing in my saltwater tank.Keep up the great cause!!

Subscribed to the newsletter. I love this program, so happy to see reef saving efforts like these. Crazy to learn that while only 1% of the ocean consists of coral reefs, 25% of the oceans inhabitants rely on them.

Here’s my bonus #4, my favorite little elegance

I was very sad to learn it is estimated that in less than 30 years, 90% or more of the world’s coral will be gone.

I learned that 90% of our coral will be gone by 2050 if we don’t make a change! Hopefully change will occur!

Official entry.
Learned that the Florida Ref Tract is getting wiped out due to a new disease. The reef Institute is trying to presve and combat this through education, restoration and research. The institute has established clubs and provided education to school age children on marine biology. They also have a neat grow your own coral program.
