It is amazing that they offer the adoption program. Lots of people may think of coral as a plant and making people aware that these are living animals and offering this program may enlighten so many and bring awareness to the issue.

I’ve always wondered what the big, round brain corals were called. The site explains it’s known as Colpophyllia natans, nicknamed CNAT

I learned that the reefs are being destroyed by not only global warming, but boating and coral diseases as well. We need to create seed banks that will help repopulate the coral population.​
