Hello, I am looking to purchase a copy of Diseases of Marine Fishes By Jay Hemdal. Any recommendations on where I can find a copy? Does this book detail some more advanced topics such as, biopsy and microscope parasite identification?

+1 on wanting to buy at least an electronic version unless I have the chance to buy a printed hardcopy!Hi, Welcome to Reef2Reef!
I was the author of that book. Sorry, but that version is no longer on the market. I've since rewritten it and expanded the text to include diseases of freshwater fish and invertebrates. I actually just finished this new book two weeks ago. I added a table of contents and an index, and that helps a lot with its functionality. It is currently at 90,000 words, 282 pages with 175 images.
This manuscript is a state of flux right now, because there are really no active aquarium book publishing companies in the US. Everything is shifting to forums such as this - that isn't a bad thing I guess, just different. My last book published by TFH was in 2014.
For the time being, I have been using excerpts from the book here to try and help folks with fish disease issues, while I work at getting the book published in some fashion.
The library section and the sticky section of the fish disease forum here have some of that material....the joke is; given enough time, the entire book will end up here at some point (grin).

Actually @Jay Hemdal maybe a suggestion would be to offer it for sale - on the site. It would be an invaluable resource.I'd pay good money for an electronic version!
No, not yet. Depends if I find a publisher or if I have to self-publish. If I have to market it myself, it won’t be until after sailing season (grin).Hi Jay, any idea on a release date?
I don’t think it’ll be an issue because you definitely have a lot of people who’ll buy it here, myself included! I’d still like to bother you time to time with my fish thoughNo, not yet.
