Aaaaahhhhh probably one of my favorite corals. I've been looking for one for a super long time, because everywhere I've looked has been sold out. Yours is colored up very nice tho!!
Try getting a jf solar flare. Pretty much identical in color

ASD Rainbow, RMF Acid Trip and JF Solar Flare are all very similar millis. There is a distinct difference between ASD Rainbow and RMF Acid Trip because I have them both and can see the difference. Actually, you can see it in my photos. From what I understand, JF Solar Flare is more similar to ASD Rainbow, just with a "JF" stamp to make it more expensive.

Yep I fell for the trap of buying a solar flare. A beautiful coral but I wish I just got the ASD rainbow

What’s ur thoughts on this coral
I have it and to me it’s cool but I don’t know if I would keep it in my main tank

It's not an expensive coral, but the contrast between deep purple and bright green polyps is hard to beat. It's also a super easy coral. Unless I can find something similar in color (but better), I'll keep mine. I think there is a lot of push in the sticks world to only keep the most expensive, hardest to find acros. IMO, some of the most common (Secale, Shades of Fall, PC Rainbow, etc.) are also some of the most beautiful.

I base my DT acros on color and contrast with corals around them. Sometimes that's corals that cost me $400/frag, and other times it's $40/frag. If I find that I have too much of a particular color, I swap one out.

True when it is happy the green is very florescent and it shines
I dont care about price either some of my favorite corals are cheap ones
How much par is yours in?
Mine has this white happening in the branches that makes it a little more interesting but I do find myself glancing over it to look at other corals

For today's post, you get the story of one of my favorite but most temperamental acros, JF Fox Flame. Everyone has corals in their tank that signal when things are out of balance and for me, one of those is Fox Flame. So back in Feb/Mar of this year I did another dose treatment of Vibrant. My Fox did not like it! While it's not quite back to 100%, it's looking good enough to post another pic. But to be transparent, you don't get just one, you get a sequence including the uglies! So here's just over a year in the life of JF Fox Flame:

I like the sequence of photo's.

It helps to show what "bad" looks like to those who wouldnt otherwise know.

To be honest, it's completely obvious when you dosed Vibrant on the tank.

Thanks for the pics.
