Just an FYI.

I bought and cut a sheet of acrylic from Lowe's (~$13.)

But oddly, the thin acrylic sheet would warp over time.

Flip it over, warp the other way. Take it off the tank, go back to flat.

I have noticed that a warm plate on an extra sheet of acrylic makes it warp. Might be differential heat of the tank water/light/room air.

Home Depot sells small sheets of Lexan. (Not to $$).

The thin Lexan from Home Depot does not warp to any noticeable degree.

Lexan is polycarbonate. Usually treated for UV protection.

Any how, FYI so others don't spend a lot of time trying to keep acrylic from warping like I did.
