Hey guys. Just joined R2R. I started a project with my father and brother a couple weeks back and figured id share our little design. I bought this 29 gallon used off Facebook marketplace for $100. I found a 1/4 thick used acrylic sheet that a local glass company had laying around for $20. Bought the light off amazon for $60. Cut a hole in the lid and ripped all the existing T5 fittings and fans out. Here are some pics to show our journey. Installed an Eshopps Nano overflow. Just installed an Eshopps s120 (not pictured). Its been a fun project. Even got my wife naming fish. Hope to get more pics of our growing reef soon!
