Someone requested to see my water mixing station, so here is a copy of the thread.

We plan to do some remodeling at some point, and we need some more room. So I wanted to find a new home for my Water mixing equipment. Here are some old pics, but you'll get the idea:

Last December, I realized I had a great un-used space. The closet in my fish room that I built to hide the sump pump.

I built a shelf out of 2x4s so I could still have access to the sump in case the pump goes bad:

It holds the 35g RODI tank on the left, and the blue 55g Salt Mix tank on the right:

The RODI filter was an eyesore above the laundry sink, so that got moved as well:

On the other wall, I put my media reactors:

NICE!! I love that kind of stuff! What are in your reactors? Looks like 2 carbon, 1 GFO, and a Biopellet??

Yes, but I have yet to get the Biopellet one running. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I have not done any water testing in a few years. I need to get back into the routine before I make a change in the media I am using. I have been hearing mixed results from those that have tried the biopellets.

...and what are the two on the shelf? Looks like it is filled with rubble.

Round one is the main calcium reactor with large media. I then run it through 2 smaller reactors with small media to help get the PH back to decent levels.
