7 stage. Or do you think it is my test kit. It is a year old

If your water is 0 tds or very low, then it’s not an issue. Pure RODI water has virtually no buffering capacity, which means it will change to whatever chemistry the tank water has

Your test kit is probably busted. If its truly 0 TDS. The dkh should be at or very close to 0

Ok. I see. I will get a new test kit. I only tested it because my tank water dkh was coming in at 6-7.

But you dont really need to test your RO water. As long as its zero TDS. I cant see a reason to test it. Unless I've been doing it wrong all this time lol

I use an dual inline meter to check tds before and after DI cartridge. It’s handy to keep an eye on tds So you know if your RO filters or DI resin needs changed

Then the alkalinity in it must be 0 dKH and you should not do anything to it.

I got a new test kit. My RODI is at 0 dkh. My tank on the other hand was 6-7 so I’m working on a buffer solution.
