I have a goniopora with some tissue recession ive fixed the problem but have some remaining algae on the dead tissue which is causing most the polyps to stay retracted do i leave it and hope the coral recovers or hydrogen peroxide dip it?
Can coral kill algae to take back its lost skeleton?

Hi, I am no expert but have been trying that method myself. Zoa's do ok, for what you have I would just use a pipette and put a few drops on the algae only and put it in a small container of tank water and try to remove most of the algae.
