Do I need another stand alone doser if I have one for the ion director?

i have the kh director with stand alone doser, I’m tempted to get the ion director when released.I know I need a doser but
do I need another stand alone or can I use a slave doser and ion director and they connect to my stand alone doser?

You can use a slave. As long as you have one stand-alone, or a Profilux, you're good to go.
