Do I need to slowly acclimate to lower levels of light?

right now, I have my lights set at 80% blue and 50% white. Do I need to do anything special if I want to bring whites down to 20%? I plan on running 80% blues and 20% whites.

Or can I just drop it and not worry about the coral?

Do you think it will shock the corals or just slow the growth? Also on these lights (reefled90) I believe that 80 out of the 90 watts is blue. That’s why I figured it would have nothing changing more than a visibility difference.

You can drop them instantly. Won't shock the corals. In theory, if you drop your par too low, you'll simply notice the corals will slowly react (stalks will elongate, polyps will widen, colors will fade), but this will take quite a bit of time. I doubt this will apply in your situation though.
