Do you know any zoanthids that are really colorful in white light?

Those are just plain old common green palys. My LFS didn't even charge for them. They were growing on the frag of something else I bought.

They look pink and yellow I was so excited. I'm guessing the photo is just throwing colors?

White zombies, fruit loops, radioactive dragonseyes, purple monsters, blue hornets, rastas, bob marleys, scrambled eggs.

Photos:

1- CB White Zombies
2- Bob Marleys (green), Scrambled eggs (yellow)
3- WWC purple monsters, orange bam bams
4- Radioactive dragonseyes (not a very colorful set either mine are kinda dull)
5- Fruit loops (mine have morphed into something different kinda)

When my hornets and Rasta reopen I’ll send you pics.
Agreed that Bob Marleys hold their colors well under whiter light!

Under Blue Light
Question I always have trouble keeping zoas is there a trick? I have mostly montipora and some acros . I have one leather which is doing great!! I keep very low phosphate and maybe that’s why they don’t do well ? Plus I have pretty good flow throughout the tank and maybe they don’t like moving water? Then the lighting? Do they like less light ? Sorry for all the questions but I love these little guy and would like to get a couple different kinds in my new 220.

I have .02 phosphate and have a good little garden. Ive kept them in low light and high light. I would do medium to low flow. What zoas do you have?

Zoas generally speaking like a dirtier tank. I have tons of zoas in mine and I dump roids and such in almost daily. I don’t test phosphates but I know the coral sucks up most of my nitrates so they’re nearly 0.

Anyone have white light pics of Hawaiian ding dangs?

Please keep posting pics of zoas under white light, so us noobs can better judge what to purchase.
Here is a photo of the Ding Dangs. It is not mine, but I think it is under mostly white light.

Based on what I saw at a frag swap over the weekend, different individual zoas of the same type will look slightly different. Like Bob's Orange Bam Bams are brighter than Steve's Orange Bam Bams.
My Goblins on Fire are not completely open yet, but you can see how bright they are. Really great!

Utter Chaos

Orange Bam Bams (mine are browner that others I have seen)
Just some different pics under whites of the same zoa.
