Does anyone know what this growth is on the live rock?

Does anyone know what this white growth is on the live rock? And do I need to be concerned? Will it resolve on its own or do I need to take action?

(it looks light purple because of the lighting but it is white)

Looks like possibly a sponge. Likely harmless, but if it starts rapidly spreading, you may want to manually remove it. Some sponges can run amok if allowed to.

I have that sponge growing on my frag rack, sump and overflow. Harmless

There are thousands of species of sponge in the world, so they can look like pretty much anything that a sponge's anatomy will physically support. It's cool.
